Competition Troupes At Streetz Ahead Dance Academy we are proud of our award-winning record, initiated in 2006 when we won 1st place at the British Troupe Championships
We nurture and develop outstanding National and International Troupes in a wide range of different styles, offering our pupils the opportunity to participate in National and International dance competitions.
The value of competition experience for young dancers is not just about winning. As well as experiencing the excitement and delight of performing in front of an audience, pupils improve so much more when they come face to face with talented dancers from other schools.
We support and encourage dancers who aspire to take their pure enjoyment of a hobby to something more serious which can lead to a career in the performing arts, and actively facilitate opportunities for them to perform in professional theatre productions, concerts, and community events. Alongside these performances we help pupils deal confidently with photo-shoots and media exposure, whether press, video or television, as required by the event.
If you feel this is something you are interested in pursuing you are invited to audition and a place is yours if you are at an acceptable standard for the troupes. Performing in a troupe is an added commitment as extra training and costumes are essential, and pupils and parents should be aware of the dedication required.
Weekly classes are held at Dancescape Studios, 21A Howard Business Park, Waltham Abbey. EN9 1XE

What people are saying
Thank you Michelle for all the fantastic opportunities you have given my children since they all joined Streetz Ahead. 14 years later I still feel so proud every time I watch them perform your routines and still so amazed just how well they perform them. And the fact that they all still love coming to your sessions every week is a real credit to you.
